Senator’s Son Linked to Epstein Meetings

Democratic Senator Ron Wyden from Oregon has been outspoken against the Trump administration regarding its handling of the Epstein case. Recently released documents reveal that his son, Adam Wyden, had business meetings with the convicted sex offender.

Adam Wyden, who launched his own private investment fund, ADW Capital, in 2010—seven years after Epstein’s release from prison—was introduced to Epstein via a mutual acquaintance, Jonathan Farkas.

In an email dated April 27, 2016, Farkas mentioned, “My friend Adam Jeffrey Epstein, who manages $5 billion, called my office and said he wanted to know about your track record and would consider investing with you.”

Further emails, some of which were redacted, facilitated the meeting, as revealed by documents from the Justice Department.

The two men agreed to meet the next day at Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse at 10 a.m.

Post-meeting, Adam sent Epstein a message expressing his “passion and dedication to my business,” trying to entice him as a client. He noted, “I live in this business and take my interests, integrity, and reputation very seriously,” in an April 2016 correspondence.

Additionally, he referred to them as “like-minded people” and expressed eagerness for Epstein to join their foundation. There’s no evidence suggesting that Wyden was aware of Epstein’s illegal activities or that he became a client.

When approached for comment, Adam Wyden, 41, simply said, “No comment. I’m not interested,” before ending the call.

Jonathan Farkas appeared in another email exchange in 2017, asking Epstein whether the woman he was seeing was a “prostitute.” Notably, Farkas’ wife is currently the U.S. ambassador to Malta.

Senator Wyden has been vocal about the Epstein case for several years. Recently, during a speech in July, he emphasized the need to “follow the money” to target “serial sex-trafficking rapists linked to the ultra-wealthy.” He’s urged the Treasury Department to release a substantial file detailing Epstein’s financial activities.

In a statement to the Post, Wyden remarked, “I don’t tell my kids about their business activities. My investigation began four years ago and remains the same. I want total transparency and accountability.”

In response, Republican National Committee spokesperson Nick Poche criticized Wyden, claiming he has been misleading about President Trump while trying to obscure his family’s link to Epstein. He called for Wyden to disclose any financial benefits derived from Epstein’s connections.
