In a special report on the Fox News channel on Thursday, Education Secretary Linda McMahon said he would request the state to hand over federal money directly to his parents and ask them to choose a school.

McMahon said, “Well, that's one opportunity. I think we should explore that. In fact, I've heard Secretary Bennett talk about sending money directly to students, so I don't think it's mutually exclusive. I talk to another governor and talk to another superintendent, what tools can you provide?
