Serena Williams' Super Bowl moment was in 13 years.
After winning a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics, Williams grew up in Compton, California, and was celebrated with Clip Walk, a dance move popularized by the California Gangstars.
So, when Compton's own Kendrick Lamar won the honors of the Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show, his team contacted Williams to link the two Compton Indigenous peoples.
