Seth Rollins curses after knee injury at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Seth Rollins has expressed his frustration after suffering a knee injury during a recent event. The injury occurred during a co-main event with La Knight at WWE’s Saturday night show in Atlanta, where Rollins attempted a move from the second rope but landed awkwardly, resulting in immediate pain.

It was evident he was in distress as the camera caught him exclaiming “f‑k!” while being helped backstage. This injury led to a sudden change in the match’s conclusion, which seemed unplanned, as Rollins was originally slated to take the win. Due to the injury’s impact, Knight ended up securing victory instead.

Reportedly, there have been concerns regarding the prevalence of knee injuries within the organization, with some suggesting these issues are becoming all too common. Rollins, who currently holds a money-in-the-bank contract allowing him to challenge for any championship at his discretion, has recently been involved in significant storylines since WrestleMania 41, working with various notable personalities.

This isn’t the first time Rollins has faced knee troubles. Back in November 2015, he suffered major tears to his ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a house show in Ireland. More recently, he underwent knee surgery in early 2024 to address a torn meniscus. After his injury on Saturday, medical staff and WWE officials assisted him backstage, providing necessary support.

At 39 years old, Rollins has become a prominent figure in WWE, holding the WWE Championship and Universal Championship twice, along with the World Heavyweight Championship. His tenure has seen him win multiple titles, including two Intercontinental and U.S. Championships, and he was previously the NXT champion before making a name for himself on the main roster.

As of now, the extent of Rollins’ knee injury remains uncertain.
