Government Offices for Migrants Gaining Ground
Currently, 24 states have established an “Office of New Americans,” which is funded by taxpayer dollars, with the intention of advocating for migrant needs over those of citizens.
These offices, primarily found in highly liberal states along with a few that are typically conservative, are designed to prioritize migrant needs politically. They direct funding toward various services for migrants, such as healthcare, legal assistance, food, education, and job opportunities.
A non-governmental organization known as World Education Services (WES) has created a resource packet to help state legislators establish these offices within their own jurisdictions.
According to this info packet, “Offices of New Americans (ONAs) are state-level departments that focus on policies, programs, and services supporting immigrant and refugee integration. They work across agencies and sectors to advance inclusion, workforce participation, and community engagement.”
States with these offices include New York, Illinois, Colorado, Maine, New Mexico, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Iowa, Washington, Vermont, Alaska, and Utah.
Additionally, numerous cities governed by Democrats have similar offices that further allocate taxpayer money to meet both legal and illegal migrant needs.
A key service offered by these offices is legal representation for migrants facing deportation, which means taxpayers are effectively funding individuals who often circumvent the immigration system.
The organizations advocating for these offices collaborate closely with Democratic initiatives aimed at increasing migrant populations. This strategy allows them to secure more taxpayer dollars for migrant care, particularly in schools where funding increases with higher enrollment numbers. By increasing the number of migrant children, they can call for more educational budget allocations.
The transfer of taxpayer funds to areas controlled by Democrats, based on their migrant populations, stands out as a significant motivator for replacing natural-born citizens with foreign nationals.
