A Democratic state lawmaker in Kentucky has been banned from a club for offering a stripper $5,000 in exchange for sex and then fondling another dancer, according to a scathing new report.
State Assemblyman Daniel Grossberg, already embroiled in controversy over allegations that he sexually harassed several young women, is now being accused of inappropriate behavior at the Foxy strip club in Louisville. The Lexington Herald-Leader reported..
“He was calling the women all sorts of bad names,” club co-owner Milford Renfrow told the outlet, “belittling them and talking down to them.”
Mr. Grossberg, 45, a married Democrat, was a regular at the club.
“You guys don't know who I am,” the allegedly drunk deputy said as he was kicked out by Foxy's managers, warning staff that “we can close this place down.”
“I don't care if you're Donald Trump,” the store manager retorted, according to the Herald-Leader. “I don't care who you are. You can't treat a girl like that.”
Asked about the allegations, Grossberg called them “outlandish.”
“The allegations become more outlandish with each publication, but they will not stop me from continuing to work tirelessly to serve my constituents,” he said in a statement last week.
“Like many people my age, I have been to adult clubs, including Foxies (sic),” he said. “I have never encouraged anyone to prostitute themselves or taken advantage of my workplace.”

Grossberg is under investigation for alleged inappropriate behavior, including allegations that he questioned a young female aide about her body, sexual history and sexual preferences while in an intoxicated state.
Following the allegations, the Kentucky Democratic Party expelled him from its caucus, and Governor Andy Beshear, also a Democrat, called for the politician in question to resign. WDKY-TV reported..
