SFSU campus police abandon investigation into Riley Gaines’ alleged assault and ransom demands by LGBT radicals

American all-female competitive swimming star Riley Gaines visited San Francisco State University in April 2023 to speak about the importance of keeping women’s spaces reserved for women. Enraged that the former NCAA swimmer was allowed to speak, and desperate to keep her voice from being heard, LGBT activists and other radicals worked feverishly to cancel the event.

Ms Gaines claimed she was eventually assaulted, mauled by hysterical protesters and held virtually hostage in a room for hours.

Gaines seemed hopeful that San Francisco State University police might do something about the incident, but earlier this month campus police apparently discontinued the investigation, calling her concerns unfounded. I knew what I knew.

“I don’t think audio, video, eyewitness evidence is admissible in science fiction,” Gaines said.
said At X.

What is your background?

Blaze News previously reported that Gaines attended a Turning Point USA and Leadership Institute event held April 6 at SFSU and spoke out against intrusions into women’s-only spaces by cross-dressers, a former William Thomas reported that the male swimmer, who was known as the 2000s, discussed entering women’s swimming as she was in her prime. example.

Protesters, said to be organized by the university’s Queer and Trans Resource Center, were chanting in the hallway outside the event, as people filed out of the classroom after hearing Gaines’ remarks. Things got even more intense as people started lining up.

According to Gaines,
violent Protesters broke into the classroom, turned off the lights, and assaulted her.

Police had to escort Gaines past a hysterical mob who continued to hurl vicious insults at her, including “transphobic son of a bitch,” along with various LGBT slogans.

The athlete was taken to a safe room. However, the door was locked. As her attendants figured out how to get Ms. Gaines out of the mob, she defiantly faced them and their “Go Home,” “Trans Lives Matter,” and “Trans Women Are Women, Too” signs. . ”

Gaines reportedly ended up barricaded in a room under police protection for more than three hours, while LGBT activists barricaded him.
reportedly He demanded money for her safe passage off campus.

Police said that around 11:36 p.m., the remaining extremists who had been waiting for Gaines illegally assembled and walked the female chair off campus. No arrests were made.

After the incident,
jamila mooreIn a statement, SFSU’s vice president for student affairs thanked the protesters and emphasized that “the trans community is welcome and belongs at San Francisco State University.”

Said Fox News Digital reported this week that she recently wrote a letter to the San Francisco State University Police Department about the “I was taken hostage” incident.

“Could you please let me know when the investigation is complete?” Gaines wrote in a January email. “Could you please tell me what conclusions you have reached regarding the investigation and whether any charges will be brought against the person who threatened, threatened, and attempted to harm me?”

“Do you have a timeline for this? Do you need any additional information?” Gaines added.

“After a thorough investigation, the charges in this case are unfounded and have been suspended pending further evidence,” the female police officer who suggested Gaines was present at the incident said in an email dated February 2. “Yes,” he replied.

The officer said campus police wrote to Gaines in June and July of last year “requesting follow-up investigations into the incident,” but those inquiries “have been answered.”

Gaines told Fox News Digital that she provided sufficient testimony and public statements to campus police in April 2023 and was advised not to duplicate her efforts.

“We talked for hours. I told them over and over again what happened. During that time, both of the police officers I was talking to were there, so they It’s not like we weren’t talking.’ I don’t know what happened,” Gaines said.

In a Feb. 2 letter, the officer reportedly said, “Please provide us with any photos or videos you may have, as well as contact details of anyone who was present who may have digital evidence. He asked for “information.”

“Please do so. Then the incident may be investigated further,” the officer added.

The former NCAA swimmer revealed on X that there are plenty of media outlets to corroborate her claims, yet campus police suggested the claims were “baseless.”

SFSUPD reportedly did not provide comment to Fox News Digital.

Gaines believes the apparent reluctance to pursue the case further emboldens extremists.

“This only encourages what happened to me to happen to others because a precedent has been set,” Gaines said. “I don’t see this happening to liberal speakers or people whose views are contrary to my own.”

Gaines has received an outpouring of support in response to news that campus police have allegedly thrown in the towel.

Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, told X: “This is outrageous. A violent mob held Riley Gaines for ransom, and San Francisco police “We have suspended the investigation into the Riley Gaines assault case. It was caught on camera!” His TPUSA students at SFSU are hosting Riley and will happily participate in the study. ”

I have written“Riley Gaines is a heroine and a great role model for all women! So, of course, the misogynistic left ignored her, made her their sidekick, and helped men displace women in sports. The American people will see through this deception and end it.” It’s almost a nightmare! ”

Genevieve Gluck, co-founder of the feminist publication Reduxx, said:
said“This is a form of psychological abuse and gaslighting.”
