Actress Shannen Doherty has passed away after a battle with cancer, according to People magazine.
The Beverly Hills 90210 star was 53 years old.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after a long battle,” her publicist, Leslie Sloane, said. He told the media.
“A devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend, she was surrounded by loved ones and her beloved dog, Bowie. The family asks that their privacy be respected at this time so they can grieve in peace,” she added.

Doherty initially breast cancer 2015.
By that time, the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes, and he was in remission by 2017, but the cancer returned in 2020.

In November, Doherty revealed that her cancer had metastasized and spread to her brain.
