Shannon Sharpe accuser shares alleged audio call with ESPN star

Audio has been released of an explicit conversation with Shannon Sharpe and a woman who accused him of accusing him of in a $50 million lawsuit for rape.

In the apparent exchange shared by the woman, obtained by the Post on Tuesday, the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe in the legal document, is asked over the phone by saying, “I’m just saying you’re angry and you’re going to hang up…” and saying, “I won’t call you.”

When the woman rebutted, she met the response, “What does that mean?”, “There’s nothing yet…. You want to be an Ad k to me now.”

When the woman fights back, “I don’t want to be, don’t manipulate me,” Sharp appears to tweet the phrase before the conversation changes vulgar direction.

“If you say that word again, I’m going to suffocate s-t from you when I see you,” he said.

Sharp, before 56 years old, there is a long pause.

The gap continues before the woman finally says, “I don’t want to suffocate…”

“Yes, you do,” Sharp is said to have stated in response. “I don’t think there’s any choice in this issue.”

According to a statement released by his lawyer, Lanny J. David, the audio release comes one day after Sharp refused “all allegations of coercion or misconduct.”

An alleged text exchange between the previous NFL tight end and his accuser was also released on Monday by his legal team, with the woman allegedly saying to Sharp “put a dog collar around my neck.”

Tony Buzby, the female lawyer, said “the text was released before the rape of the issued case,” and “the attached audio revealed the nature of Sharp’s relationship with Jane Daw just before the attack.”

The complaint filed Sunday in Nevada states that Sharp accused sexual assault, batteries and sexual batteries.

He is also said to have engaged in a deliberate infringement of emotional distress during a “rocky, consensual relationship” that lasted nearly two years.

The woman claims that ESPN’s personality sexually assaulted her multiple times between late 2024 and early 2025.

Sharp appeared in “First Take” on Tuesday, sparking news.

ESPN declined to comment when Jenna Lemoncelli in the post reached.
