Sean Alexander Announces Pregnancy of 14th Child
Former NFL MVP Sean Alexander’s family is set to expand as he reveals that his wife is expecting their 14th child. The Seattle Seahawks icon, who took home the league MVP award in 2005, shared the joyful news during an appearance on Kay Adams’ “Up & Adams” show. He expressed pride in raising a “beautiful family.”
“We’re beginning to share this with people now—baby number 14 is on the way,” Alexander said with a smile. “You’re the first audience I’ve told on TV, so it’s exciting to talk about it.” He mentioned they are still figuring out the details but did not specify the gender of the new baby.
Alexander and his wife, Valerie, already have 10 daughters and three sons, but details about the new addition remain under wraps. Interestingly, while many know that former Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has 10 children, Alexander playfully pointed out that he has him beat.
In a reflective mood, Alexander expressed a desire to see his children witness him being inducted into the Hall of Fame someday, which isn’t exactly a small dream. “I wonder if that’s asking too much?” he mused.
During his illustrious career, Alexander led the NFL in both rushing yards (1,880) and rushing touchdowns (27) in 2005, leading the Seahawks to a Super Bowl appearance that season, although they ultimately lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was selected for three consecutive Pro Bowls from 2003 to 2005, and in his nine seasons in the NFL, he accumulated impressive stats—9,453 rushing yards and 100 touchdowns over 123 games.
His final season was with the Washington Redskins, but unfortunately, injuries limited him to just four games in 2008.
