Ryan, speaking on ESPN, indicated that he feels something is lacking in Sanders’ approach, especially as the team considers what Coach Kevin Stefanski should do with the quarterback situation. He criticized Sanders’ attitude, suggesting it reflects poorly on him. Ryan made pointed remarks about the need for Sanders to step up and truly embrace the quarterback role, calling for greater commitment to the responsibilities that come with it.

Sanders previously stated that he believes he could perform at a higher level than many current starters in the NFL. He expressed confidence in his ability to outperform what he sees from other quarterbacks in the league right now.
