In a recent tweet, Shiba Inu team member Lucy revealed an important update regarding the Shiba Inu trading card game, Shiba Eternity.

according to Lucythe launch of the play-to-earn edition of Shiba Eternity is fast approaching. Avid fans can now experience the game on a mobile version, where players can play and take part in training activities to earn kibble.

However, the blockchain version of Shiba Eternity is expected to offer some unique features that set it apart from the mobile experience and bring a whole new dimension to the game.

Lucy outlined some hypothetical features of the blockchain version of Shiba Eternity, where Treat, the upcoming Shiba Inu token, is expected to play a key role. While details have yet to be revealed, the Treat token could become integral to gameplay mechanics and rewards.

The blockchain version may incorporate BONE, another token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, allowing users to use it to shop within the game. This feature could increase the utility of BONE and drive demand for the token.

Ownership of Shiboshis, Shiba Inu-exclusive NFTs, will be a key aspect of Shiba Eternity. Players will only be able to play with a particular Shiboshi if they own the corresponding NFT or have rented it from the owner. This mechanism not only highlights the importance of Shiboshi NFTs, but also creates a potential rental market within the game.

Additionally, kibbles earned on the mobile version will become TREATS in the blockchain version, which will link with the in-game economy and improve the overall gameplay experience.

A blockchain version could revolutionize how players interact with the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which Lucy said could lead to increased trading volume and improved token utility.

The game mechanics could include features that lead to a SHIB burn, potentially reducing the circulating supply and increasing the value of the token.
