During a college basketball game at Tulane, a shirtless fan stormed the court and shoved a Memphis Tigers player.

The unranked Tulane Green Wave defeated No. 10 Memphis, 81-79, to improve to 12-6 on the season. Meanwhile, the Tigers are currently 15-4 on the year.

As the final buzzer sounded, enthusiastic fans rushed onto the court, and one shirtless fan joined the crowd.

But that fan seemed to be looking for junior forward David Jones, who is in his first year at Memphis after playing at St. John's last season. Video showed a fan shoving Jones in the back and rejoining the crowd on the floor.

However, Jones did not respond to the fans and was seen walking off the court in the opposite direction.

This may have been a worse event than it actually was, but it's always scary for the opposing team to have fans flooding the court.

A prime example of this is Ohio State, No. 18 in women's college basketball, watching fans sprint into the hardwoods after beating No. 2 Iowa State in overtime.

Iowa State star Kaitlyn Clark was jogging off the court when an Ohio State fan collided with her, leaving Clark upset.

“Now we obviously see them storming the courtroom, and that's totally fine, and I mean, it's good for the students,” Clark said, according to the Dayton Daily News.

“It was a great win for them. I was trying to get off the court as quickly as possible, so I started running, and I just got completely hit by someone who was trying to run onto the court, and I was basically blindsided… In a way, it was scary. “I was seriously injured and the wind blew me away. But luckily my teammates picked me up and carried me off the court.”

Ohio State University's athletic director apologized to Clark after the incident.

In the Tulane-Memphis game, Jones was the leading scorer with 32 points. He is the Tigers' leading scorer, averaging 21.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.

“I'm not a player who rushes down the court,” Tulane head coach Ron Hunter said. “But depending on the school and environment, sometimes it just happens. I'm happy for them.”
