Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas may have already been impeached, but he's still dodging important questions. Namely, the question about an Afghan man recently arrested for planning an election-day terrorist attack on Americans.
In an interview with CBS's Margaret Brennan, Mr. Mayorkas was asked what the status of arrests of potential ISIS terrorists was.
“He was in this country. He had immigration status. Was he radicalized before he came to the United States?” Brennan asked.
“I won't discuss the facts because this is an ongoing prosecution, but I'm sure those watching understand the breadth and diversity of our mission at the Department of Homeland Security,” Mayorkas said. mentioned in. Americans are too accustomed to fashion.
“But the question here is whether we're going to scrutinize whether he was radicalized,” Brennan interjected.
Mayorkas responded, “Remember, this is an Afghan national who came on parole and we're vetting him, and we're doing it intensively.”
Pat Gray and Keith Marinak of “Pat Gray Unleashed” are appalled by his lack of answers and what this means for America's national security.
“With such a great vetting and vetting process,” Marinak begins, Gray finishes, “How did they get in there?!”
