ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Three people were shot to death at the offices of a shipping company near Athens on Monday, and the suspect also lost his life as police special forces prepared to confront them, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at the offices of a shipping company in Glyfada, a seaside suburb of the capital. Witnesses said the alleged gunman, an unidentified company employee, entered the building armed with a shotgun and a handgun.
Police spokesperson Consancia Dimogridou said the victims included the owner of the company.

“The suspected assailant, who worked for his family, was found dead in a separate location from the three people who died at the company. He had an assault weapon next to him and his head It appears he shot himself and committed suicide,” Dimogridou said.
He said police and special forces personnel entered the building and made sure other employees were safely removed from the building before the suspected gunman was discovered.
