Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has confirmed that he is en route to a shooting incident in York County that involves multiple law enforcement officers. He mentioned that he had been briefed about the situation and urged local residents to adhere to the instructions provided by state and local police.

Lieutenant Colonel Austin Davis shared a prayer on social media, asking for support for the officers involved in the incident. He also advised the public to stay away from the area as they await more information.

Details regarding the number of injuries or arrests are still unclear. Shortly after the event, the Mexican consulate in Philadelphia issued a statement on social media, advising the Mexican community to follow official instructions and indicating that they are monitoring the situation in North Codra Township.

The consulate mentioned setting up a hotline for those who may need consular assistance, although it’s not clear how the Mexican community is connected to this incident.

In response to the situation, the Springgrove School District has implemented shelter measures, but officials confirmed that neither the school nor its students are directly involved.

The Pennsylvania State Police and local emergency management officials have not provided an immediate response to inquiries regarding the incident.
