According to law enforcement sources, the Secret Service is responding to a shooting near Donald Trump as he left his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“President Trump is safe following a shooting nearby. Further details are unavailable at this time,” Trump spokesman Steven Chang said Sunday afternoon.
The two exchanged gunfire outside the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, with the gunmen aiming at each other and sources saying the shots were not aimed at Trump.

Sources said Trump was never in any danger and that the shooting occurred outside the club in an area known for high crime.
This comes nearly two months after suspect Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump, wounding him in the ear, at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
This is a developing story.
