A Pennsylvania couple's home improvement funds were almost used by their dogs after they made treats for them using the large amount of cash they withdrew for construction costs.
“It was shredded all over the room,” Carrie Rowe of Pittsburgh told Fox News Digital about the money.
“One area was pretty covered in bills and some had small puncture marks where he had bitten them,” she said of their dog. “And most of it was missing, so we speculated that perhaps he had swallowed a significant portion of this money.”

Roe said Cecil, a 7-year-old goldendoodle, had never done anything like this before.
“That's why it was kind of a shock,” Law said.
“He's a very goofy dog, a very sweet dog. He's 100 pounds, but he's like a family dog. He loves to lean on people. [getting] Stomach wound. Many people say that he is human-like on the inside. ”
“I haven't even registered.”

“We were going to pay for the landscaping project in cash,” Roe said.
“I was working on the other side of the house and suddenly I heard a noise. [my husband] Clayton yells that Cecil ate the money. It didn't even register because he had never done anything remotely like that in his life,” she said.
“It didn't make any sense, but it was clear what happened.”
According to Law, Cecil just stood there looking at them and seemed completely unfazed.
“We just called the vet and saw what they recommended,” Lo said.

“They said, 'He's a big dog, he weighs 100 pounds, so as long as he acts normally, goes to the bathroom normally, eats normally, he'll be fine.'”
Cecil said he spent the afternoon playing, napping and watching TV, and had thousands of dollars in his stomach.

“I said, 'You think I'm crazy, but this is what happened, so what can I do?'” Roe said.

“We noticed [he vomited] I had a lot of bills so I decided it was worth cleaning this up and drying it out to see what would come back. ”
It turned out to be a significant amount of money, and despite everything, the bill was in pretty good shape, Lo said.

The unusual collection process took about three days.
