She’s causing quite a splash!
Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jena Sims revealed on Sunday how she maintains a great bikini body and what it’s like to be married to pro golfer Brooks Koepka.
Sims, 34, says the secret to her great body is an easy 45-minute workout.
“My favorite workout is the F45,” explained the model to FOX“It’s only a 45-minute class, and I think they like it because they play great music and are very loud.”
“I’m not a calm, snuggly Pilates or yoga princess. I’m like, ‘Shout out to me.'” I want to sweat,” Sims continued. “I want loud music and heavy weights. With my body type, I don’t have to do a lot of cardio, so I like lifting weights. I’ve found weightlifting to be the most beneficial.”
Sims, who is currently in the top 12 in the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swim Search, said the competition had been her dream since she began her modeling career.
“I remember seeing Tyra [Banks] We did the cover in the late ’90s,” said Sims. “I remember looking at her and saying, ‘Wow, she’s so beautiful.’ And Tyra has had her amazing career since.”
“I have found SI Swim Search to be a positive and safe environment and I feel welcomed and honored to even be a part of it,” she added.
The original Swimsuit issue first came to prominence in 1964 and helped launch the careers of Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkley, Elle Macpherson, Kate Upton and Ashley Graham.
According to the “Sharknado” actress, news broke that she had reached the top tier of the competition as she and Koepka, 32, were on their way to dinner.
“We were on our way to dinner,” Sims recalled. “And I was navigating. I was DJing on my phone. Swim Search Top 12 Finalists”. ”
“I am still so shocked. You are so close to your biggest dream… [But] It was just the two of us, so we didn’t have to call him and give him the news,” Sims continued. Oh my god,’ he said.”


“He said, ‘Congratulations, I’m so proud of you. What’s our gate code now?'” Sims laughed.
The duo met at the 2015 Masters tournament in Georgia before going public in 2017.

Five years later, in 2022, Sims and Koepka got married.
“He’s very supportive,” gushed the swimsuit model. “I support his hopes and dreams, which is why our relationship is so successful. Very interested in everything I do and far from what he does.
Sims said being a professional golfer’s wife isn’t as easy as it sounds.


“It tests your patience,” said Sims. “But I’m pretty lucky. It’s really exciting that her husband doesn’t work from nine when she’s at five, and I’m not on duty either.”
Models say one of the better perks of not having a regulated job is that they can travel and support each other.
“I can travel with him and support him. “We can be together…Whether he’s had a good day or a bad one, I look forward to seeing him at the end of the day.” I love being there for him.”


According to Sims, when it comes to date night, neither she nor her husband want grandeur.
“we [like to] Catch up with all our crappy reality TV shows,” the model blushed. “That’s our shared hobby: watching reality shows. Just us and our dog.”
“But when I leave home on a date, there’s a really nice restaurant here called U-Tiki,” Sims said. “It’s plastic chairs, sushi, drinks… people are like, ‘Is that your favorite restaurant?’ ”

Despite being in the top 12 of the prestigious competition, Sims revealed that some people believe the actress doesn’t actually do well.
