Silverstone to remain on F1 schedule for 10 more years

One of F1’s biggest events will remain on the calendar for at least another 10 years.

On Thursday, it was announced that the British Grand Prix at Silverstone has extended its contract with F1 until 2034. The circuit, considered one of the most historic and legendary circuits on the F1 calendar, announced the extension on social media.

F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali said in a statement: Mr. Silverstone pointed out that It was at the “center of F1 history”.

“We are delighted to announce that this agreement means that the British Grand Prix will remain on the calendar for a further 10 years. “The event continues to attract fans from all over the world for great racing on the track and a great fan experience off the track,” said Domenicali. “I would like to thank Stuart Pringle and the team at Silverstone for their hard work and dedication in taking the British Grand Prix to new heights and look forward to working closely with them to further improve the facilities and fan experience for next year. I’m looking forward to 10 years. “
