Simone Biles closed out the 2024 Olympics with a return to the podium.
After falling on the balance beam just hours earlier and missing out on a medal for the first time in the Games, the American superstar gymnast bounced back on the floor to win silver and finish with four medals in total in Paris.
Despite experiencing some issues during her warm-up, Biles recorded a score of 14.133 after landing out of bounds twice.
In the end, she was unable to beat Rebeca Andrade of Brazil, who won her first gold medal of the tournament with 14.166 points.
Biles lost to Andrade by .033.

American Jordan Chiles was awarded the bronze medal after an investigation was filed on her behalf.
It was reviewed and approved, and her lead performance was raised from a starting value of C to a D, improving her score.
Biles won gold as part of the U.S. team, as well as the individual all-around and vault titles, and her silver medal brings her Olympic medal tally to 11.
