Simone Biles’ mom brutally trolls Snoop Dogg during awkward Olympics interview

Simone Biles’ mother put Biles in hot water after airing a story during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics about how the rapper allegedly ignored her daughter, who won four gold medals with her some 14 years ago.

“Today Show” star Hoda Kotb collaborates with musicians from “Drop It Like It’s Hot” An interview with the Biles family On Friday, they were preparing to watch her compete in her third Olympic Games.

However, during the interview, Kotb pointed out that Simone Biles’ mother, Nelly, has some sort of connection to the West Coast rapper.

“Snoop, I don’t know if you know this, but Simone and you have been friends for a long time, right Nelly?” Kotb revealed.

“How? How, Nelly?” asked a perplexed Snoop.

“I’ll never forget meeting you in Times Square in 2010,” Nelly Biles told the “Gin and Juice” rapper.

“And then we asked for a photo and you said two minutes. One minute, two minutes, and then you’re gone.”

However, the Olympian’s mother was just teasing Snoop, so the whole crew laughed for a bit before quickly changing the topic.

Biles, 27, was conspicuously absent from the U.S. team’s boat ride into the Seine for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics.

But her mother revealed that it was all for a good reason.

“first [gymnastics] The tournament is on Sunday, the women’s qualifying round, so of course I need to rest before that,” Nelly Biles said. Kotb said..

Biles’ return to the Olympics will come three years after she shockingly withdrew from the games in Japan to focus on her mental health.

But Nelly reassured Kotb, 59, that this time her daughter was “doing very well.”

“I spoke to her this morning and she’s doing great,” her mother said. “She’s doing really well.”


2024 Paris Olympics


Biles qualified for the U.S. women’s gymnastics team in June along with teammates Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera.

The star gymnast left the competition midway through Sunday’s preliminary round after apparently hurting her foot while warming up for the floor exercise.

She can be heard on camera saying she felt something on her calf.

But nothing could stop the seven-time medal winner from performing.

She took to the stage and wowed the crowd with a routine to Taylor Swift’s “Ready For It.”

Her performance, one of the most difficult in the world, was solid, earning her 14.600 points and securing her a place in next week’s final of the event.

After finishing her performance, Biles was seen making a careful exit from the floor before receiving a hug from her longtime coach, Laurent Lundy.

U.S. gymnastics coach Cecil Lundy said Biles’ leg problems began several weeks ago but were minor.

Her coach added that there had been no talk of removing Biles from the event.
