On Sunday, the gymnast won her ninth individual all-around title ahead of the Paris Olympics starting this summer.

Biles competed on the uneven bars, floor exercise, vault and balance beam, earning a total score of 119.750.

The 27-year-old stumbled only once during the vault while attempting her eponymous move known as the “Biles,” but she didn’t let that bother her and said she was “not upset” when commenting on her performance during the vault.

Meanwhile, Dallas-born gymnast Skye Blakely took second place behind Biles with 5,900 points, and gymnast Kayla DiCello took third place.

Biles blamed mental issues for missing most of the Tokyo Olympics and claimed she found it hard to “trust my gymnastics again” during her return.

“It took a lot of hard work, both mentally and physically, to regain confidence in my gymnastics and, most importantly, in myself,” Biles said at her post-competition press conference on Sunday. “I think the hardest thing for me after Tokyo was not having confidence that I could do gymnastics.”

If Biles is officially selected to the U.S. Olympic team, she will become the first American woman to be selected to three Olympic teams since Dominique Dawes in 2000.
