On Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) addressed the evident uncertainty among Democrats following their loss in the 2024 presidential election.
Mullin noted that with Nancy Pelosi stepping down as the Democratic leader, the party struggles to establish a clear identity.
“It’s remarkable,” FNC host Sean Hannity remarked. “They lack a leader. The only figures who seem to resonate – the most attention-grabbing ones: Bernie Sanders, AOC, Jasmine Crockett. And I’m honestly okay with that.
Mullin stated, “Well, the amusing part is that you mentioned three socialists, which I genuinely mean—three socialists, so that indicates the current disarray of the Democratic Party. It’s surprising because we all considered Nancy Pelosi to be the leader of the Democratic Party.
“He spoke for 25 hours. I can’t recall anything he said except for what you mentioned,” he added. “He lashed out against Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Well, that’s the same strategy Democrats have used. Hakem Jeffries isn’t guiding it. Chuck Schumer isn’t steering it, and their polling reflects that.
