Lucy Dacus Offers Fans a Chance to Get Married at Her Concerts

Singer Lucy Dacus shared on Wednesday that she’s open to hosting weddings for fans during her tour.

She posted details on Instagram, asking, “Do you want to marry at one of my shows? 💍” The post elaborated, “Last week, we asked if people were interested in having a wedding from the stage. A lot of responses were positive, so we put together a Google Form for sign-ups.”

Dacus mentioned that she’s touring in the U.S., though not every city will be included this time. Fans can find all the essential information, including how to obtain a marriage license for different states, on her website.

She also mentioned via Twitter, “If you find a way to marry people at my show, would anyone be interested? There are many who might want to secure those rights for some reason, or perhaps logistics or finances are barriers – we will do it for free.”

Dacus seems genuinely thrilled about the opportunity to assist fans in tying the knot. “There are countless reasons why people might want to secure marriage rights, right?” she shared with her audience. “Some shows might be too early for folks to handle their paperwork, but we’ll be ready wherever we go.”

While Dacus hasn’t provided specific details about integrating weddings into her set lists or performances, she has been mulling over potential ideas online to make this experience possible for her fans.
