Sao Paulo (AP) -The singer Patty Smith has returned to an apology for falling down on Wednesday night with a presentation in Brazil and later.
The video released in social media indicated that she was lying on the ground.
The Calcula Artistic Theater, a small concert hall in Sao Paulo, said that on Thursday morning, the artist had a severe migraine and felt dizzy during the performance.
“She is attending the best doctor and our team,” said the theater in Instagram. CulturaArtística did not respond immediately to the comment request.
Smith participates in SAO PAULO for a two -day presentation of the “Response” project with Berlin -based Group Soundwalk Collective. During the performance, she recited some of her books with the musician.
Soundwalk Collective stated that Smith had suffered a severe migraine for the past few days, but wanted to be there for all of us and you. The group has posted a statement signed by Smith in their Instagram story.
According to the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, Smith collapsed about 30 minutes after the event while reading textbooks on climate change. She fell on the stage and stayed there for a few minutes before receiving support. Later, she was placed in a wheelchair and was shot behind the scenes.
She later returned to a wheelchair and apologized, showed a local media video.
“Unfortunately, I got sick, and the doctor said I wouldn't end, so we need to understand something, and I feel very sick,” said Smith.
The audience answered in English: “Don't do it! We love you!”
Smith and sound walk collective statements stated that they would be on stage for Thursday night performance. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether it will be canceled at the venue.
