Wayne Osmond, a member of the Osmonds, a musical group made up of brothers that was popular in the 1960s and 1970s, has died at the age of 73.
Osmond, who was born Aug. 28, 1951 in Ogden, Utah, and was the second oldest of the original Osmond Brothers singers, died surrounded by his wife and five children, it was announced Thursday. The bereaved families made the announcement in a joint statement.
“Wayne Osmond, a beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully last night surrounded by his loving wife and five children,” his family said. report By KSL Television.
Osmond's family continued: “His legacy of faith, music, love and laughter has touched the lives of many people around the world.” “He wants everyone to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true, that families are eternal, and that split bananas are the best dessert.”
“We love him and will miss him very much,” the musician's family concluded.
Osmond is survived by his wife Kathryn and five children, Amy, Stephen, Gregory, Sarah and Michelle.
