Six Americans Imprisoned on Drug Charges Released by Kuwait

A recent report from the Associated Press revealed that six Americans, consisting of veterans and military contractors who were jailed on drug charges, have been announced by Kuwait.

Jonathan Frank, who works as a private consultant in cases relating to “American hostages and detainees,” expressed his gratitude to Kuwait's “government of this kind of humanitarian gesture.” According to Outlet.

Frank, who accompanied six “newly released prisoners” on a flight to New York, said more Americans are “expected to be released” by the Kuwait government.

The outlet said the six Americans released were “not designated as mistakenly detained by the US government.”

The American who was released Wednesday was not designated as wrongly detained by the US government. This status applies to subsections of Americans imprisoned abroad and ensures that the case is historically handled by the administration's special presidential envoy for hostage issues.

Franks issued a statement saying, “These Americans were left in prison for years due to misguided policies that effectively abandoned Americans overseas before President Trump took office.”

The release of six Americans from Kuwait comes when Russia releases two Americans who had previously been detained on drug charges. Kalob Wayne Byers and teacher Marc Fogel.

As John Hayward of Breitbart News previously reported, the Kremlin announced on February 12 that “unknown Russian citizens” will be released from confinement “as part of the contract” and “as part of the contract” as detained by Russian customs agents who have been held by Russian customs agents who have won half an ounce of medical marijuana in 2021.

A few days later, Russia allegedly discovered a “around 10 deika” custom official, 28, who was reportedly freed Byers, who had “approximately 10 deikas detained at Moscow's Vnukovo airport,” which he said had discovered “cannabis-covered gummies or marmalades.”
