Six tech red flags that your partner is about to cheat — or is having an affair already

The host of a radio show that focuses on consumer technology news and security revealed how you can use your partner’s cell phone to find out if they’re cheating.

Kim Komand said how people handle their phones and what they put on them can reveal more about them than they’d like to reveal.

“Be careful how you use your devices” Commando He told the Daily Mail..

She listed six ways to tell if your partner is up to no good.

Hide your phone and notifications

“Many people keep their cell phones away from others to protect their privacy, but few hide their phones from their spouses, nor do they shuffle browser tabs or turn off their tablets,” Command warned.

“Notifications can also reveal cheaters, so it’s common to turn off or hide notifications when you’re doing something you don’t want your partner to see.”

There is a fake app

“Unless your partner is brazen, you probably won’t have a chat app on their home screen or sexy messages in their text message folder,” Komand says.

She explained that the app for sharing messages, photos and videos looks like something else, like: Calculator Pro+ — which fraudsters could use to hide inappropriate interactions.

Clear your history frequently

People who are doing things they shouldn’t be doing are likely to frequently try to clear their history to remove all evidence of their sordid behavior.

“If they regularly access dating sites, secret email accounts, etc., they’re likely trying to cover their tracks,” Commando said.

Online trash is always full

Cheaters may try to cover their tracks but may forget to delete the virtual trash or use it as a place to hide something.

“Deleted digital items don’t usually disappear forever. Your computer’s trash or recycle bin will store the items until the bin is emptied, and some cloud services allow you to restore items from the trash,” Command explained.

“Many people hide their cell phones from others to protect their privacy, but few hide their cell phones from their spouses,” Commando warned.

Always “Working”

The tech expert also warned that being constantly busy at work could be a cover for something more scandalous: Some fraudsters use fake work documents to hide sensitive information or interactions, she said.

“When you open the file, the first page looks like a bunch of corporate jargon,” Komand said.

“But scroll down and the files’ true purpose becomes clear: Online Docs is a way to discreetly share notes, photos, and videos with others.”

Visiting the same places frequently

Komando also suggests checking your partner’s location history to see if there are any suspicious places they frequently visit.

She explained that most mobile phones record previous destinations and important locations to mark places where the phone is frequently found.

If you’re wondering where your loved one spends most of their time, it’s time to find out.
