It's no secret that Ana Navarro is not a fan Single man franchise — and she The View Interview Golden Bachelorette Star Joan Vassos handled the criticism like a pro.
During this morning's episode of the long-running daytime talk show, Navarro grilled Vassos about whether the reality dating show is “scripted.”
“They're all huge fans,” Navarro said, pointing at the other hosts. “I'm the odd one out at this table. I've never seen an episode. It doesn't interest me. But I'm changing my mind.”
Navarro continued: “What do you say to skeptics like me who think this is all scripted and pre-ordained and so hackneyed it couldn't possibly happen in school?”
Vassos, who appeared in the first season of Golden Bachelor Now starring as the franchise's first golden Bachelorette, she agreed that the ABC series “isn't for everyone,” but promised that nothing fans will see on the show will be scripted.
“I get that, and there's honestly no script,” she says. “You just find someone who you think is right for you, and that's great because it's not easy to go out and date in nature, and I hear that a lot from people, young and old.”

Vassos assured Navarro that the producers “never told me what to say or who to pick,” and while they would set the date, Navarro had a say in where it would take place.
