Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter, attempting to move past the social media backlash over a now-flagrant foul in a game against the Indiana Fever, offered a scathing critique of Kaitlyn Clark’s skills in a thread posted on Saturday.
Carter decided to avoid questions about Clark after the Fever won the game 71-70. She liked and reposted posts defending Clark on X, and didn’t attack Clark until after she was posted in the thread.

“And in that respect, that’s what she brings to the team other than her three-point shooting,” Carter wrote in response to a post about her post-game press conference.
In another thread post, Carter responded to a video of Angel Reese celebrating with Carter during a timeout following a hard foul by former Winthrop Eagles guard Bjorn Broman.
“Got my best friend Fasho and all my teammates,” Carter allegedly wrote about Reese.
Carter’s activities at X are also telling.
On Sunday, the WNBA upgraded Reese’s foul on Clark in the third quarter to a Flagrant 1 violation. The league also fined Reese for missing postgame media availability.

2024 WNBA odds: Will upsets impact Caitlin Clark’s Rookie of the Year campaign?
Clarke is certainly known as a 3-point shooter, but the stats suggest she does a lot more than just sink the long ball when she’s on the court.
Clark contributed to the win with 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists, joining New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu as the only players in WNBA history to record at least 100 points, 50 rebounds and 50 assists in their first 10 games.
Clark did not join the new rivalry with Carter.
“I didn’t expect it,” Clark said after the game. “It’s what it is. It’s a physical game. You make free throws and you go on offense and I think that’s what we did.”
