Cavaliers vs. Celtics picks
After a hard-fought battle with the Orlando Magic in the first round of the series, the Cleveland Cavaliers began their second round series against the Boston Celtics.
Boston is favored by 12.5 points at BetMGM Sportsbook. While this number feels extremely high, the Celtics have the potential to dominate teams and are much better off with rest.
Everyone was in a bad mood when the Miami Heat defeated Boston by making 23-of-43 3-pointers in Game 2 of the first round, but the Celtics made at least 14 points in the remaining games. Center Jarrett Allen may also miss this game. Additionally, the Cavaliers failed to reach 100 points in five of their seven games against the Magic, and that level of offensive power likely won’t work against Boston.
