SNL Faces Backlash after Mocking Jesus and Trump in Easter Themed Skit

Saturday night’s live sparked criticism of last weekend’s skit, featuring a parody of Jesus Christ and President Donald Trump. A long-term comedy show was held Comedy sketch In that episode, it aired on April 12th. Special feature Mikey Day, who dressed Jesus in the temple, recreated a scene from Jesus’ Bible that kicked out the seller from the temple. He has accompanied Kenan Thompson, Andrew Disdakes, Sarah Sherman, Ego Nwodim, Emil Wakim, Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow and Jane Wickline as pupils.

“Do you want to remind you of someone?” he asked. “Wow, I took the money off last week too, but instead of one temple, I did the whole country. Maybe even on Earth. Money is gone.”

“Hello, that’s me, your favorite president, Donald Jesus Trump,” he said. “Compare yourself again with the Son of God. Many people you know call me the Messiah because of the chaos created from the economy.”

Johnson also laughed at the global impact of tariff policy and concerns expressed by other leaders around the world.

“But now, everything subtracted trillions of dollars, how it’s back,” he said. “The transfer of historic wealth from the middle class to my peers. Well.”

“It’s true, the stock market did yes,” he continued. “After death, it will rise on the third day, die again on the fourth day, and probably not return like Jesus.”

Johnson also used “Jesus Christ” to tease people who shared frustration about the state of the economy. Additionally, he was shot by a Christian who only attends churches on Christmas and Easter to shop for Easter eggs.

“But let us remember the lesson that Jesus taught us when he held those money in the most sacred season of Easter. We must not mix religion and commerce.”

“You can read everything about it in my Trump Bible. It’s made in America now, so it costs $1,300 and it’s falling apart even faster,” he joked.

That’s what the segment was rid ha ha By online calling it “disrespect” and “devil.”

“This is a demon. This is a demon. This is a demon. This is not a comedy.” I wrote it X’s Sean Harrison

“Jesus is not a character. He is not your punchline. He is the Lord’s Lord and he is not laughed at him,” he insisted. “He turned the table over, not for evaluation, but with correct anger. He died for your sins, and he came back with fire in his eyes.”

The CEO branding expert criticized SNL skits and asked his followers the question, “Is there no comedy restrictions?”

“Adhesive. Inappropriate. And it’s disrespectful,” he said. I wrote it.

“SNL laughed at Easter and Jesus chose to cleanse the temple while mixing the usual Trump-style skits. Politics mixed with millions of sacred moments is a toxic combo.”

“We can discuss satire, but faith at this time is not just another punchline.”
