Snoop Dogg Supports Daughter After Loss

Snoop Dogg is standing by his daughter during a heartbreaking time. On Saturday, Cori, who is 26 years old, shared the devastating news of the death of her 10-month-old daughter, Kodi.

She expressed her grief on Instagram, saying, “On Monday I lost the love of my life. My Cody 🪽,” accompanied by a touching black and white picture of her holding her baby.

In response, Snoop Dogg, at 54, showed his support by posting a photo of himself with Cori and his two sons, Korde, 31, and Kordell, 28, along with a simple message: “💖🙏🏾.”

Cori announced in December 2024 that she was expecting her first child with her fiancé, Wayne Duce. Then, in February 2025, she shared that her baby was born prematurely, stating, “Princess arrived at 6 months old.” She further expressed her feelings of helplessness yet gratitude, saying, “But God showed me that no matter what happened, He always had me!”

She later mentioned that Kodi spent six months in the NICU, reflecting, “Being a NICU mom wasn’t part of the plan, but it became part of my story.” She shared her journey during NICU Awareness Month, emphasizing her connection to her little fighter.

Last month, Cori joyfully announced on Instagram that she had finally brought her daughter home, writing, “She’s at home. Thank you for all the prayers, all the messages, all the love. God heard them all.”

Cori and her fiancé got engaged in November 2022, intending to marry in 2024, but those plans were sidelined after Cori was diagnosed with lupus at age six. She also faced health challenges earlier this year.

During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Snoop spoke fondly of his daughter, affirming, “I know he’s the one,” referring to Duce. He expressed a father’s protective instincts, sharing his emotional journey witnessing Cori grow up. “I’ve watched her from birth to now, so it’s no wonder I’m emotional,” he added.
