The government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) announced Wednesday that the Social Security Agency's move to terminate contracts dealing with “gender X” markers in public applications will save more than $1 million on taxpayer funds.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on his first day in office, aimed at shifting the language used by the federal government in documentary, including a move to replace the term “gender” in official documents with “sex.” .
“The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive effect on the validity of not only women but the entire American system,” the order signed by Trump countries. “Being based on federal government policies on truth is important for scientific research, public safety, morale and trust in government itself.”
The move also does not identify the option of marking documents such as passports with “X” instead of “male” or “female” to Americans who do not identify with either of the two biological sexes. It overturned changes, including giving to others.
Later last month, the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Agency were told not to make a final decision on applications that would produce documents that contain a gender “X” marker.
Social Security appears to be the next institution to make corrections when it comes to people who identify gender in their applications.
The Social Security Administration did not respond to requests for comment on Fox Business issues.
