Trump Questions Biden’s Health Diagnosis
In a press conference on Monday, former President Trump expressed disbelief that doctors had failed to inform the public that his predecessor, Joe Biden, is suffering from advanced prostate cancer. “I am amazed that the public has not been notified long ago,” Trump remarked in his first televised comments regarding Biden’s diagnosis.
He went on to label the situation as “dangerous to our country.” It’s a surprising statement, especially considering the political climate.
Biden’s office recently disclosed that the 82-year-old former president has been diagnosed with a “very aggressive” form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. This news comes despite a past year during his presidency when there was no mention of any health issues.
Trump described the diagnosis as “very sad,” but he also noted that there had been prior assurances about Biden’s cognitive health from doctors, including Kevin O’Connor, who had served as his physician in the White House.
Interestingly, there are moments where, perhaps, things just slip through the cracks in communication. It makes you wonder how often the public is kept in the dark about serious health matters.
This development is still unfolding, so stay tuned for further updates.
