The law firm, which has deep ties to the network of left-wing nonprofits and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), is partly behind President Donald Trump's lawsuit seeking to deport illegal alien members under the alien enemy law.
Over the weekend, the Trump administration began to incite alien enemy laws and deport illegal alien gang members to El Salvador under a deal with President Naive Bukere. The agreement allows the US to fly foreign gang members to the country, and hold the event at MegaPrison for an annual fee.
Trump has invoked the alien enemy laws, putting nearly 300 illegal alien gang members associated with Tren de Aragua and MS-13 (both designated terrorist organizations) on deportation flights to El Salvador, which has filed the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and democratic forward. Litigation Stop the government.
The lawsuit involves five illegal aliens in Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody. He is accused of being a gang member, and uses alien enemy law to sues the Trump administration, justifying potential deportation from the United States.
Since then, federal judges have ordered Trump to stop such deportation. However, according to the administration, gang members tied to El Salvador over the weekend had already landed in the country when the orders dropped.

company list Left-wing organizations such as clients and partners, including the Center for American Progress, National Miveligration Law Center, Color of Change, Unidosus, Common Justice, and Catholic Legal Mivirus Network.
The Soros Open Society Foundation, run by Alexander Soros, son of now billionaire George Soros, funds several clients and partners of democratic forwards. For example, in 2023, the Open Society Foundation changed its $3 million grant after providing nearly $1.5 million in funding to the group in 2018 and 2019.
Similarly, and perhaps most importantly, the Open Society Foundation continues to be one of the biggest donors to the Center for American Progress. This is considered an informal Democrat policy building.
In 2023 alone, the Open Society Foundation gave the American Center for Progress, nearly $4 million in grant funds.
Similarly, the Open Society Foundation is throwing millions at the National Immigration Law Center, which is hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding for Unidosus, Common Justice and the Catholic Legal Mivirus Network.
The Forefront of Democracy and the ACLU are now ask A federal court examining whether the Trump administration violated a judge's order to stop the deportation of illegal foreign gang members.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said the administration did not refuse to comply with the order, but rather the order was issued after deportation flights were made.
“The written order and the administration's actions are not inconsistent,” Leavitt said in a statement.
“Furthermore, as the Supreme Court has repeatedly made clear, federal courts generally have no power to remove foreign foreign terrorists from the US soil and fight back against declared aggression,” she continued. “A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movement of an aircraft carrier full of foreign alien terrorists physically expelled from the US soil.”
