South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott Endorses Trump in Brutal Blow to Haley

Former President Donald Trump's 2024 campaign rival, Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina), endorsed the 45th president Friday night at an event in New Hampshire. Nikki Haley (R-South Carolina), who first appointed Scott to the U.S. Senate in 2012.

Mr. Scott enthusiastically expressed his support for Mr. Trump at an event in Concord, New Hampshire.

By the end of his remarks, Scott engaged Trump supporters and forced them to finish his sentence by saying the former president's name.

Following his endorsement, President Trump called Tim Scott “a very, very good man and a very well-respected man” and thanked him for traveling from Washington, D.C., to the Granite State.

“It means a lot to have his support. We have a huge amount of support. They're flooding in right now, but Tim's presence is very important,” he added.

The 45th party currently consists of about 20 U.S. senators, Scott, Gov. Doug Burgum (R-North Dakota), 38-year-old entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, radio host Larry Elder, and business leaders. He has the support of five 2024 Republican presidential candidates, including House of Representatives Perry Johnson. .

“It's time for the Republican Party to come together, we have to come together. We have to go after the crazy people we're dealing with,” President Trump said Friday.

“Instead of wasting hundreds of millions of dollars attacking Trump and others, we need to come together and focus our efforts on defeating the worst president, crooked Joe Biden.” he added.

President Trump said, “Haley is trying to get liberals and Biden supporters to vote for her in the Republican primary by RINOs, Never Trumpers, Prosperity 'No' Americans…globalists and radical left communists. He has formed an unholy alliance with.”
