South Carolina suspect crashes into house while fleeing from police

Dashcam footage recently captured the moment a car collided with a house during a police pursuit, with two individuals fleeing the scene on foot afterward.

Police arrived shortly after the incident on Renwood Road in Simpsonville, South Carolina, with one officer chasing one of the suspects.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle around 2:30 p.m. on October 15, 2026. However, the vehicle sped away and crashed into a residence just moments later.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the event.

According to an update shared on Facebook, two juveniles aged 15 and 16 are now in custody facing charges related to possessing a stolen vehicle.

The dramatic crash was recorded by a grocery delivery driver’s dashcam while she was fulfilling an order at the location.

Kristina Andriukova, 32, was walking to the front door with groceries when she heard a loud crash and quickly looked back.

“I turned around and saw that a car had crashed into the house,” Andriukova commented.

Initially, she thought maybe the driver had mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and ended up in the garage.

However, the wailing sirens of police cars soon revealed the full story.

“Moments later, police cars arrived with their sirens on, and I saw someone running away,” she recounted, realizing it was part of a police chase.

Andriukova’s dashcam caught the incident mainly because she adjusted her usual delivery routine, deciding to park on the street rather than in the driveway.

“Usually, I go straight into the driveway to be closer to the house, but this time I don’t know why I parked on the street,” she explained.

She returned to her vehicle and noticed several more police cars heading toward the scene as she left.

Later, she discovered a news report on Facebook indicating that teenagers had stolen a vehicle and crashed into a house while trying to escape law enforcement.

According to the report, two suspects were apprehended, although Andriukova did not witness the arrests herself.

Initially, the police had mentioned that someone believed to be the driver was taken into custody after fleeing from the crash. A follow-up update confirmed that two teenagers had indeed been arrested.

“I was just doing my job, delivering groceries, and then I unexpectedly found myself in a risky situation,” Andriukova reflected.
