Special editions of ‘Special Report’ and ‘Hannity’ to be broadcast from the Middle East

Special Broadcasts from the Middle East During Trump’s Visit

Next week, Fox News Channel is set to feature special editions of “Special Report” and “Hannity,” live from the Middle East as President Donald Trump embarks on his first visit of the new semester.

Hosts Bret Baier and Sean Hannity will present their respective shows: “Special Report with Bret Baier” at 6 PM and “Hannity” at 9 PM Eastern Time, directly from the region.

Baier will be on location providing live coverage from Monday to Friday, while Hannity will be broadcasting live from Tuesday to Thursday. Notably, Baier is scheduled to interview Trump in the United Arab Emirates on Friday, May 16.

Hannity will have his own discussions with the president while they’re on Air Force One during the trip.

Hostage Negotiations and Military Operations

Baier and Hannity will broadcast from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will engage with various world leaders as they cover events throughout the week from locations including Doha, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Their discussions are expected to address current developments and news from the journey.

The Israeli Defense Secretary stated on Monday that Trump’s visit presents a “window of opportunity” for negotiating a hostage exchange, suggesting that failing this, Israel may initiate a new military operation in the Gaza Strip as hostilities with Hamas persist.

He emphasized, “Without a hostage deal, Operation Gideon’s Tank will commence with full force and won’t stop until all objectives are met,” referencing decisions made by the Israeli security cabinet the previous evening.

Meanwhile, Trump’s visit continues to apply pressure toward achieving a nuclear agreement with Iran, aiming to curb the actions of Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.

On Thursday, the Trump administration announced new sanctions targeting Iranian oil as part of its strategy to maintain pressure in negotiations with Iranian officials.

The Ministry of Finance has stepped up efforts to control Iran’s oil exports, designating specific entities involved in purchasing or facilitating significant amounts of Iranian oil.
