Special Forces Episode Recap

In the latest episode of Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test, Gia Giudice, Brianna “Chicken Fry” LaPaglia, and Randall Cobb faced some serious consequences.

The episode, titled “Trust,” kicked off with a unique challenge where the recruits were asked to declare who they trusted the least in the group. LaPaglia wasn’t shy about highlighting Chanel Iman, a model who had previously flown under the radar. She definitely wasn’t the only one to speak up.

However, the Directing Staff (DS) had a different method in mind to assess trust levels. With the recruits absent from the food hall, they set up boxes filled with enticing snacks like soda and candy. Iman cautioned her teammates to avoid the boxes, but Cobb and Judith mistakenly thought it was a treat from the DS and ended up sharing it with others. They soon realized, unfortunately, that the boxes were marked “DS Dorm,” indicating they weren’t meant for everyone.

When questioned about the incident, Cobb owned up to his mistake but also had some support from Judith, who claimed she was trying to look out for Iman. In the end, though, the entire team—except for Iman—faced punishment. Following the DS’s orders, all ten recruits had to jump into icy cold water. Iman was then asked to reveal whom she trusted the least, and after some thought, she chose LaPaglia, stating, “I feel down today. It’s tough when you feel guilty about picking someone.”

As a consequence, LaPaglia was put in a cage in the camp’s center. Judith and Cobb decided to join her voluntarily, and once settled, the rest of the recruits had to douse them with buckets of what was called “bad ass water.” It seemed to be quite the spectacle.

DS Rudy Reyes reflected on the tough love approach taken, emphasizing, “In special forces, we have strict consequences. Mistakes in training can lead to severe outcomes on the battlefield, including loss of life. Shame is a tool we use to keep ourselves accountable.”

As the episode wrapped up, LaPaglia, Judith, and Cobb stayed in their cages, cold and drenched, while the rest of the recruits returned to the warmth of their barracks.

Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test airs Thursdays at 9 PM ET/PT on FOX, with new episodes available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
