Spencer Pratt mocks Mayor Karen Bass with a new survey

Spencer Pratt Challenges Karen Bass Amid Polling Decline

Spencer Pratt, who is eyeing the Los Angeles mayoral race, has taken a jab at Karen Bass, highlighting her dwindling popularity. He claims that a striking 64% of voters are leaning toward him.

In a recent post, the former reality television star shared an unverified poll indicating that 40% of Los Angeles residents would “definitely vote for someone else” instead of re-electing Bass.

“Looks like 64% of voters will vote for Spencer Pratt,” he remarked, sharing the information with a ballot emoji on social media.

The same poll uncovered that only 36% of respondents fully support Bass’s performance as mayor, while a notable 61% expressed disapproval.

This poll was conducted by FM3, the same organization behind a pro-busing survey in 2022.

In an interview with ‘Fox and Friends’, Pratt mentioned how he never had plans for a political career but felt compelled to enter the race after experiencing significant loss. He emphasized his frustration with city leadership, labeling their actions as “criminal negligence” related to last year’s fires that affected his home in the Palisades.

“I didn’t want to be mayor…but once I revealed everything I had, these leaders should have resigned,” Pratt added.

He’s not the only contender; approximately 20 other individuals have filed paperwork for the upcoming 2026 mayoral election against Bass. Noteworthy candidates include former LAUSD Superintendent Austin Beutner and Democratic Socialist Ray Chen Huang.

Criticism has also been directed at Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom for their alleged failure in managing recovery efforts after the destructive wildfires. The mayor has previously shifted some blame, indicating that those in his circle failed to inform him not to leave the city during fires while he was 7,500 miles away in Ghana.
