Spencer Pratt Discusses His Visit to the Oval Office
Spencer Pratt shared some personal reflections on what it meant for him to visit President Donald Trump’s Oval Office, accompanied by his son, Gunner.
The reality television figure and former Los Angeles mayoral candidate posted a picture of his 8-year-old son posing excitedly in front of the president’s desk. Gunner, decked out in a dress shirt, suit, and black pants, sported a huge grin.
Pratt conveyed that his dedication to improving the country parallels the love he has for his own children. He expressed, “You must love your country as much as you love your children—unconditional love. Make sure they’re playing by the rules.” He further elaborated that true affection involves waking up daily focused on how to support and protect them.
This visit with Trump came shortly after Pratt unveiled his latest post-election initiative, called the War Foundation. He mentioned the aim is to utilize various media platforms, educational efforts, and strategic partnerships with the government to push its agenda.
According to Pratt, the foundation was formally registered with the California Secretary of State on June 24 by his campaign team, which included Gabriel Mann and Brianna Bilbray. He described the foundation as a chance to advocate for transparency and integrity in governance and culture through innovative media.
He pointed out a significant issue today being the lack of courage among leaders and within the culture. “Common sense is desired, yet many fear to ask for it,” he noted in his statement.
Pratt has recently gained visibility for his mayoral campaign, which followed the devastating loss of his Palisades home in a wildfire. His campaign attracted considerable media attention, especially for its creative advertisements, including those generated by AI. Despite garnering significant attention, he finished third in the June primary, trailing behind current Mayor Karen Bass and City Council member Nitya Raman.
While it’s unclear what specifics were discussed during Pratt’s meeting with the president, it’s known that Trump encouraged him to contest his election defeat.
On a personal note, Pratt is married to reality TV star Heidi Montag, and together they have two sons.
