Spirit Airlines’ Passenger Dress Code Prohibits ‘See-Through’ Clothing, ‘Offensive’ Tattoos

Spirit Airlines is updating its policies for travelers and may begin flying with some strict rules.

In the vehicle contract updated on January 22, the airline set out several requirements for passengers, CNN has been reported Thursday.

Guests are not allowed If the person is “barefoot or wearing insufficient clothing (i.e., see-through clothing, not properly covered, exposed breasts, buttocks, or other private parts), or whose clothing or articles, etc. “You may be required to fly if your body art contains clothing or articles that are obscene, indecent, or offensive in nature,” pages 9 and 10 of the document read.

CNN highlighted one example when a woman claimed she and her friend were asked by a Spirit Airlines attendant to leave for a crop top.

“Fashion choices have long been an issue for air travelers as many have been denied boarding and in some cases gone viral due to the circumstances,” the outlet said.

Another example in 2022 appeared to have political reasoning behind it, according to Breitbart News. The outlet said a Spirit Airlines passenger was forced to cover his “Let's Go Brandon” mask when a flight attendant claimed it was “offensive.”

One traveler reacts to Spirit's updated dress code said “There's too many rules,” another man said, per CBS Miami, “They're the owners, which means they can do whatever they want. I'm also a business owner, and business facilities also have certain There are rules. So they can do whatever they want.”

I recently had a man from San Antonio, Texas. kicked Ken's 5 was turned off a Spirit Airlines flight because of his hoodie's curse words.
