To celebrate, the Park City, Utah, distiller has released a recipe for a celebratory cocktail.
The Spooky Sour is a bourbon-based drink that could get guests in the Halloween spirit, according to High West Distillery.

Drinks manager Holly Booth said: “High West Double Rye has the perfect amount of spice and sweetness, making it the ideal base for any cocktail.”

Founded in 2006, High West was Utah's first legal distillery since 1870.

1/2 oz Spanish Citrus Vanilla Liqueur

3/4 ounce lime juice

2. Shake the ingredients in a shaker until ice forms.
3. Pour the drink into a chilled coupe glass.
