Sports Gambler Loses An Incredible $1 Million After Rams Fail To Cover Spread Against Eagles

What a horrible bet and waste of a cool million dollars …

Before the contest between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams kicked off, Caesars Sports reported that it received a bet worth $1 million for the Rams to cover the +3 spread at -120 odds. All the gambler needed was for the Rams to keep the game close. It didn’t matter if the Rams won or not; they just had to keep their deficit under three points if they were on the losing side, with a victory also delivering a cashed wager. If things went his way, he would’ve profited a whopping $833.333.33, making for a total payout of $1,833,333.33.

But as we know, Saquon Barkley and the Eagles had different plans, with the superstar running back rushing for a mammoth 255 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Birds to a 37-20 win on the road.

In other words, the bet chalked and it’s nothing more than a donation now. Yikes.

Rough, just rough.

I had one hell of a Sunday when it came to NFL betting — had one of my biggest days in a while — but I honestly couldn’t imagine gambling AND losing $1 million in a bet.

I couldn’t stomach it.
