Spurs fans skipping NBA Finals Game 2 due to reported mistreatment by fellow spectators

Incident Leads Spurs Fans to Skip Game 2 of NBA Finals

Two prominent fans of the Spurs won’t be attending Game 2 of the NBA Finals. Their decision stems from a distressing experience during a previous playoff game that left them feeling quite uneasy.

OnlyFans models Blue and Julie J. Swan were reportedly subjected to verbal abuse during Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. They claimed that multiple fans hurled insults, and one individual even grabbed Blue, an interaction that was recorded and shared on social media.

Though they were present at Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the two have opted out of Game 2—specifically from their usual courtside seats behind the Spurs bench—due to their altered sense of security.

“I was really anxious. I’m still thinking about whether I should go,” Swann said in a phone interview. “What if it happens again? Or what if there are other problematic fans? This fear just kept coming back to me. It’s a packed stadium, and you really can’t predict who’ll be there. We never thought we’d face something like this at such an important game.”

Swann admitted that the incident has lingered in her mind since her return to the Frostbank Centre.

Blue initially shared the disturbing video on May 29, but it gained traction after she reshared it recently, potentially linking the man in the video to a fan involved in another incident at the end of Game 1.

In the video, a man could be heard criticizing Blue, saying, “It’s a shame to be sitting like that,” before allegedly touching her, which prompted her to tell him not to lay a hand on her.

Afterwards, another man accompanied by a woman reportedly took pictures nearby, with the woman making inappropriate gestures. As they were leaving, this same man insulted Swann on their way out.

“It was overwhelming. I was upset when I left, and once I got into the car, I just broke down,” Swan shared. “I felt so unsafe at the game. It was tough to cope.”

James B., who manages both women, mentioned that they alerted arena security, but the initial response was insufficient.

The group involved was allowed to remain seated, and while security got more involved in subsequent incidents, the offending fans had already exited before any action could be taken.

Even with security’s assurances, Swann and Blue felt uneasy about returning to the Finals. The Spurs organization did not comment on the reported incidents.

Despite the troubling experience, Swann indicated she still has a passion for the Spurs and plans to attend Game 2. “I really love the Spurs,” she expressed. “It’s unfortunate it turned out this way. I just wish it could have been a magical experience instead of something like this. It’s sad.”
