Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama Gains 25 Pounds Over Offseason, Moving Him Even Closer To Setting Entire NBA Ablaze

We should all be scared of the future Spurs…

Victor Wembanyama, the rising superstar for the San Antonio Spurs and reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, beefed up a bit over the offseason prior to his second campaign in the league.

Heading into Spurs training camp, Wembanyama comes in at 235 pounds. The previous season, Wemby was at 210, meaning he gained a solid 25 to bring into 2024-25. (RELATED: Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard Underwent Procedure On Knee In Offseason, Will Start Training Camp On Limited Basis: REPORT)

If that doesn’t sound scary enough for his opposition, let me put it to you like this: Wembanyama is only 20 years old (he turns 21 in January), so with him being so young and there being so much to fill with his 7’3″ frame, sky is truly the limit when it comes to unique physicality and athleticism. And on top of that, as his career continues in the NBA, both he and his trainers will get a better grip of his game with the league’s style.

Think Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who looks nothing like he did in his rookie year, and we already know how dominant he became…

Oh yeah, the NBA is looking at some terrifying stuff, especially considering I have Wemby eventually eclipsing Giannis.

As a Miami Heat fan, I hate the San Antonio Spurs, but I already know what’s about to happen here.
