ROADLEY, Providence – Caddary Richmond never fondly recaptures the final match of his college career.
The Starguard rarely had the opportunity to affect the floor during the second St. John's 75-66 defeat to St. John's 75-66 No. 10 Arkansas in the Western Region's second round match on Saturday.
Richmond was fouled out in 16 minutes as Johnny's offensive struggle ended the season.
“It's difficult, it's a tough way to go out,” Richmond said. “Some tough calls. They played better than us. They're just tough calls.”
Richmond chose not to criticize the suspiciousness of the host that might have been.
He only played six minutes in the first half after picking up two quick fouls.
He was fouled out with 6:28 left in the second half.
“Yeah, but I can't decide,” Richmond said. “They blow whi, they call it, and the outcome is the outcome.”

Richmond couldn't help with the stretch and looked helplessly from the bench.
It marked the first game he has fouled out this season or the past two years.

Richmond's decision to transfer from Seton Hall to St. John's to St. John's promoted Queen's School.
With the Brooklyn native leading, Johnny won his first Big East regular season title since 1985 and his first Big East Tournament crown in 25 years.
He wanted it to last a little longer.
“We had a special group, from the coaching staff to the players and managers,” Richmond said. “I am grateful and grateful that they allowed me to come here and become the person I am in. I am always grateful to them.”
