If the NCAA Tournament starts today, St. John's will be the fourth seed.
In 16 teams made for TV, the 16 teams on the selection committee, Johnny was slotted as the final fourth seed of the Eastern Region.
In other words, no on the second weekend. If they push it forward with a sweet 16 potential 16 showdown against 1 seed duke, it means they're heading for Newark.
St. John's was the only big East team in the top 16.
Committee Chairman Baba Cunningham said on the show that it narrowly beat Marquette and Michigan in the final spot.
Johnny has won three predicted teams: Connecticut, Marquette and New Mexico.
Their four losses were brought about by a total of seven points.

“It's something we've worked for, the whole staff, the community, and the whole season,” junior forward Zuby Ejiofor said ahead of the announcement. “We've been trying to improve since last year and we're trying to go as much as possible. We're going to take one game at a time.”
St. John's faces No. 24 Clayton on Sunday in a game that will go a long way in determining the regular season league title.
St. Johns leads Clayton in one game, two ahead of No. 18 Marquette and Connecticut.
There was a 10-game winning streak by Villanova on Wednesday.
